About Me

“Nothing will work unless you do.”

Maya Angelou

Hey It’s Me: Simple, Quiet, Spiritual, Empathetic, Mixed with a Little Thrill Seeking.

I love traveling, soap operas, sports, the occasional workout, and cooking. But above all, I have a deep love for helping others. This love began during my nine years of service in the United States Navy. I had duty stations in Japan, San Diego, CA, Bremerton, WA, and Charleston, SC. My military career was a mix of joy and turmoil, but through these experiences, I discovered my true passion.

This passion led me down the path of Social Work. Recently I obtained my Masters of Science in Social Work with an emphasis on Mental Health and Substance Misuse. This blog is not just a part of my journey. It is a shared space where I open up about moments of mental and spiritual healing. I discuss everyday life and, sometimes, a whole lot of beautifully chaotic nothingness. I invite you to join me on this personal and transformative journey.
